If the air valve does not close properly, with air constantly leaking from the center of the valve, this means there may be debris obstructing the mechanism.
- Completely dry the area.
- Deflate the board.
- In the repair kit, you will find a valve wrench.
- Remove the air valve cap.
- Insert the wrench.
- Turn the wrench counterclockwise until you can remove the valve completely.
- Inspect the valve mechanism for any debris and try clicking it up and down.
- Look for a rubber gasket, which is an off-white o-ring.
- If you cannot find a rubber gasket or fix the mechanism of the valve, please reach out to our customer service over at hello@maddleboards.com.
